Wonton Soup

Taking 10 minutes to turn something simple like frozen wontons from Costco into a baller dish is one of my favorite things to do. Here’s a favorite at our house, especially when it starts to get chilly outside.

Milford Kitchen Wonton Soup

INGREDIENTS

1 bag frozen wontons from Costco (Bibigo Chicken Cilantro)
12 cups Chicken Broth (+2 cups water)
4" piece of peeled ginger
2 Tbsp soy sauce
6 garlic cloves, smashed
3/4 tsp sesame oil
Sliced green onions, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  • Bring all soup ingredients to a boil. Simmer on low for 10 minutes, then remove ginger and garlic cloves and bring it back to a boil. Lower in wontons and cook for 10 minutes more. Serve into bowls and garnish with green onions.
